Lets we not forget that Slayer came out with shoes a few months prior to this.Nonetheless, I doubt Slipknot's new direction had any effect on this.After all, there was more of a teeny craze during the Iowa era than there is now.Yeah, I personally think releasing shoes is f***in stupid, buts its really no different than releasing T-shirts, hats, posters, wristbands, ect.
