Augury Guitarist Announces New "Door" Album From Humanoid Project

Guitarist Mathieu Marcotte from Canadian progressive/technical death metal band Augury has a solo project titled Humanoid, which is gearing up to drop a new album simply named ''Door."

Today the unmastered advance track "Solemn Celestial Symphony" comes online and can be heard below. Mathieu also had this to say:

''This year is the 5th year I'm working on this part time, and I feel a bit like a fetus that's been isolated for too long... So to make things move a bit, prepare yourself for this first promo song entitled 'Solemn Celestial Symphony!' really excited to share that with you, cheers!''

A host of special guests from the Canadian music scene will appear on the album, including Mathieu Fiset, Sébastien Pittet, Dominic Forest Lapointe, Daniel Daris, Tommy McKinnon, Christian Pacaud, Dan Leblanc, Frédérick Filiatrault, Frédérick Fill Spectre Chicoine, Patrick Loisel, Nain Porte Quoi, Brendan Wexler, Olivier Bourbonnais-Allaire, Arianne Fleury, Guyot Begin-Benoit, Guillaume Audet, Phelan Young, and Philippe Mius d'Entremont.

According to comments from the band back in May, primary group Augury is also apparently working on a new full-length release.
