Dark Hound Parts With Guitarist Elliot Gordon

Last month we premiered Dark Hound's full "Oceans" EP (still available for streaming here), which dropped on July 10th. Now the band has checked in with the following announcement about a lineup change:
"Elliot Gordon has unexpectedly left the band. We wish him all the best and he has our unwavering support in whatever his future endeavors may be. We have all played with him for many years, we’re very sad to see him go and will always cherish the memories we’ve made together; but what rocks must keep rolling.
"We have a handful of shows booked (tomorrow night! Foobar!) and will most definitely be playing those (as a 3-piece, for now). It may be a little different and a bit strange, but we’re still going to rock your faces off with the same quality you’ve come to expect from us. We will not be booking any more shows until we find and get settled with the right replacement, which hopefully will not take us long.
"We appreciate you bearing with us as we figure out how to overcome this little bump in the road, and as soon as there’s news to share regarding a new guitar player we’ll let you know! We hope to see you out at Foobar tomorrow night for Palaver Thursday along with Howling Giant, The Common Tiger, and Murder City. It’s gonna be a rager!!! Onwards and upwards, thank you all."
