Your Chance To Die Vocalist Missi Avila Sitting Out Upcoming Shows

South Carolina based melodic death metal band Your Chance To Die recently signed with worldwide booking agency Tone Deaf Touring and is about to embark on a 2-week United States stint.

Lead Vocalist Missi Avila will not be able to join her metal brothers on the road during this run, so stepping in will be Ex-Cerebral Bore vocalist Simone Pluijmers, who will be handling the duties of lead vocalist.

When asked about joining the band and touring for the first time since leaving Cerebral Bore, Simone stated: “It’s been awhile since I’ve been on the road as well as onstage, it’s time for me to climb back on that horse. Your Chance To Die is a great band, the people and the music, but unfortunately their vocalist Missy couldn’t make it for this one tour, so she hit me up to see if I would be interested. I honestly couldn’t have wished for better people to work with. They’re a real family and it’s an honor to be part of Your Chance To Die for these upcoming 2 weeks in August.”

Comments vocalist Missi Avila: “It's hard for me to have to give up the reins on this tour, but circumstances beyond my control have prevented me from being able to be a part of the tour this time. I am so thankful that Som has stepped up and agreed to do this tour for me. She is an incredible artist and has become a great friend as well. I know she will go above and beyond expectations and this will be an amazing tour for the band, as well as a chance for her fans to see her again.”
