wow, not impressed at all by the tracks released so far... the lyrics are generic and the song structure is about as cookie-cutter as they could make it....

Yeah, not gonna lie, the chorus might be the weakest I've ever heard. From anyone.

Who the f$@k listens to the song for its lyrical content 1 & 2?

Both songs released are better than anything off mechanize.

This is their closest sound to demanufacture. There will be a lot of happy fans if there is more of this.

Give me more.

First off you should always take in lyrical content to examination to hear why they wrote the song. You don't always need in depth lyrics either. These dudes are trying to tell us we are slipping and machine is winning.

@ Up your arse: .. since their first album pretty much. Yeah, I am a long-time Fear Factory fan and almost at the point now where I can't stand these lyrics anymore.

But I must say that this song is a bit more exciting than the others, it definitely sounds more traditional and I like that. Still wish those buttheads would take Ray and Chris back in the band. Burt will probably suck at this live, too. :-/

It's just not the same anymore..

#3, plenty of people listen to songs for their lyrical content. That's how people compare a song to their current state of life, that's how people draw inspiration, that's how people find their escape when they need it.

Hey, if you want music with no (meaningful) lyrical content go listen to more electronic stuff. I'm not going to blast your choice and/or preference in music, but don't insinuate that others are wrong for liking certain aspects of something that you don't.
