Finnish heavy metal institution Children Of Bodom is pleased to release a first track from the upcoming ninth record "I Worship Chaos," which will be released on October 2nd via Nuclear Blast.
In anticipation of the new album, Children Of Bodom reveals the official track "Morrigan" today. Listen in below.
Returning to Finland’s Danger Johnny Studios to record "I Worship Chaos," the album was produced by COB and Mikko Karmila, who worked with the band on earlier albums "Halo Of Blood," "Hatebreeder," "Follow the Reaper," and "Hate Crew Deathroll."
The album was mixed and mastered at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland. Pre-orders for the upcoming full-length release can be made right here, and the track listing is as follows:

^ I didn't think it was -that- bad. As people age or move along in this gig, voices change and tones are different. Its pretty hard for one to duplicate the same voice given out a decade ago. Doesn't mean people have to like it, only acknowledge the reason for change.
Musically, it does feel less inspired than previous efforts. The keyboards are more of an ambient undertone than a driving force and the riffs feel like they are just there to give the impression that the band is still making music.
I'm still hopeful that Bodom will put out a decent record with this one, but their track record over the last 3 albums has been hit or miss.
