Vale Of Pnath Cancels Tour Dates
After splitting with the band's vocalist earlier this month, Vale Of Pnath has also cancelled upcoming tour dates. The band comments:
"Due to increasingly disastrous events within the VoP ranks, we are regretfully forced to cancel our appearance at Armstrong Metal Fest and all of the shows on our STRONGARM TO ARMSTRONG July tour.
"In June, our vocalist Stevie left the band to pursue his lifelong dream of being a master Pokémon trainer. Wishing him well but wasting no time, we took to the Internet and immediately began the hunt for a new singer.
"A few days later, Alan (bass) fractures his heel and is laid up in a cast for the next 6 weeks, unable to tour at risk of further injuring himself and requiring emergency surgery. We didn’t want to but we were prepared to tour without a bass player, embarrassingly enough we’ve done it before, it’s less than ideal but still feasable in a pinch.
"However this week, our guitarist Harrison has to step away to deal with overwhelming issues piling up in his personal life that require immediate attention. Unfortunately that’s all we’re at liberty to say on the matter and his future with the band is uncertain at this time.
"This sadly leaves only 2 members standing and a band in no state to tour and deliver a performance on the level we like to deliver.
"We’ve tried absolutely everything we could, and reached out to as many people as we know to try and salvage the situation, but the only option we have left is to cancel the tour before it’s too late, regroup and focus on killing 2016 with a new album (to be recorded starting late October).
"From the bottom of our hearts we are sorry to all that were looking forward to seeing Vale Of Pnath next month, we hope you will bear with us in these dark times, and we can’t wait to get back out there to show you what we’re made of."
