Disturbed Back With New Album "Immortalized"
After releasing a teaser clip indicating the band was back from the dead (having broken up in 2011), Disturbed has now issued the following statement about releasing a new album:
"Disturbed ones - The hiatus is over. Over the past year, we’ve been secretly writing and recording a brand new album. Today, we are excited to share a new song called 'The Vengeful One' along with a new music video. It’s off our upcoming album called 'Immortalized,' which will be released on August 21, and is available for pre-order today.
"This album had the arduous task of, in some way, justifying the hiatus; giving the fans something that made it worth our time away from one another. We hope that it succeeds in that task. Thank you for staying with us over the years. Pre-order our new album 'Immortalized' now at this location."

Pretty solid Disturbed track, for what it's worth. I just wish bands like this would get heavier, with heavier vocal styles, and not just his normal shrieks. Wish a lot of bands would experiment every once in a while basically, not change their sound completely. Bands like this, Drowning Pool, Three Days Grace, Dark New Day (if anyone remembers them lol), even Breaking Benjamin. Bands like that walk the line.
But the main point is, this is a solid track.

I agree, I'd like to hear something heavier. A lot of tge bands you listed are hard rock bands and most play more radio rock songs. Dark New Day was ok and I like their going melodic to heavy, but definitely needed some faster songs.
I really don't like to spend my time knocking bands on this site, but Breaking Benjamin might be the worst so called hard rock band out there. Every song sounds the same. Same formula, start of upbeat and then slow, draining, time to change the station.
