Lurid Memory Signs With Funeral Noise Records
San Diego based progressive outfit Lurid Memory has inked a deal with L.A.'s very own Funeral Noise Records.
Formed in 2010, Lurid Memory initially was formed under the moniker Memory. Through lineup changes, the band began performing live extensively while also perfecting its sound. In 2012, the band's first recorded efforts came to light in the form of a self-released promo entitled "Unclear Mental Portraits From Live Past."
Today, Lurid Memory embarks on a new chapter - with its current lineup, the band is in full motion and is set to release a debut EP entitled "Dematerializing" this fall.
"Lurid Memory would like to proudly announce our signing to Funeral Noise Records," states guitarist/vocalist Oscar Padilla."We are excited to release our debut EP, 'Dematerializing,' which represents the apex of our song writing abilities as individuals and as a unit. New music is currently being written for a full length, and show and tour announcements to come soon."
