Metal Blade Records has announced the official signing of New Bedford, Massachusetts-based sextet Beyond The Embrace.

Apparently, the label discovered the three-guitarist led outfit after a demo review in an issue of Canadian metal publication, Brave Words And Bloody Knuckles. The musical strength of Beyond The Embrace's self-titled, CD-length demo obviously swayed the brass at Metal Blade with its European-influnced melodic death metal.

In similar news, Beyond The Embrace have re-issued their demo with two bonus live rehearsal tracks and new packaging. Interested parties can order it directly through the band's website,

Beyond The Embrace are currently writing for their Metal Blade debut, Against the Elements, and expect to have the entire album ready for a spring 2002 release.
