Joe Satriani Has Pneumonia, Cancels Few Tour Dates
According to a posting on his official web site, legendary guitarist Joe Satriani has been diagnosed with pneumonia and is unable to perform the concerts scheduled December 28 through January 1 2005. At press time, all the dates are expected to be rescheduled in early 2005.
"Joe is expected to make a full recovery after rest and medication," the statement continues. "He regrets being unable to perform this holiday season and wishes all his fans a Happy New Year and looks forward to seeing them as soon as he is back to 100 percent."
The affected dates are as follows:
Dec. 28 - 4th & B - San Diego, CA
Dec. 29 - House of Blues - Las Vegas, NV
Dec. 30 - Celebrity Theatre - Phoenix, AZ
Dec. 31 - Ventura Theatre - Ventura, CA
Jan. 01 - The Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim, CA

Damn, was going to see him new years day in Anaheim. I saw him with Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy in August and he blew everyone away, He is one of the best guitarist ever and he always will be. Well hope to see you soon!! Get better Satch, your one of my guitar inspirations man!
