Shape Of Despair Streaming New Track "Monotony Fields"

The Finnish funeral doom pioneers from Shape Of Despair are streaming the first track taken from their new album, "Monotony Fields."

The album's title track is streaming below, courtesy of Decibel Magazine. "Monotony Fields" will be released by Season of Mist on June 16th in North America.

Regarding the track, Shape Of Despair comments: "Monotony fields, a song which reflects the album and it’s atmosphere the most for us. Slow trip into the mind of desperation."

So good. Godly band, I'm going to only listen to a snippet of this and save for the album.

New vocalist will have big boots to fill as Pasi Koskinen is one of the metal greats but sounds good to me.
