Agalloch Release 'The Mantle'

Portland, Oregon-based dark metallers Agalloch have officially titled their long-awaited second full-length as The Mantle.

Currently, information on the album is sketchy, but Agalloch's label The End Records expects the band to finish recording and mixing The Mantle sometime in early December.

In similar news, Agalloch's Of Stone, Wind and Pillor has been garnering the band rave reviews in the underground and seems to reaffirm Agalloch's position as one of North America's most revered left-of-center metal outfits.

Agalloch's The Mantle is due out sometime in winter 2002 on The End Records.
