Cold Inks Deal With Napalm Records

U.S. rock outfit Cold just signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records. Hailing from Florida, the alt metal / hard rock stars have sold over one million records in the U.S.

The band comments: "Cold is honored to join with Napalm Records! We look forward to making music with a company that has kept Artist integrity intact."

Sebastian Muench from Napalm Records adds: "We are absolutely excited to announce the signing of Jacksonville's alternative / hard rock band Cold! 'Year of the Spider' (2003), 'A Different Kind of Pain' 2005 & 'Superfiction' 2011 are among the most relevant and creative rock albums of the last decade or so..... tracks like 'Suffocate' & 'Stupid Girl' are simply brilliant! We are looking forward to a successful partnership!"

The band's upcoming record is scheduled for a 2016 release, with more official news coming soon.

Damn didn't even know this band was still around, they always reminded me of a less popular rip off of Staind

Had to pull out "13 Ways To Bleed On Stage" when I saw the press release. Played the sh** out of that one in my high school years and it actually still holds up pretty well.

Agreed.

I was full on into Opeth and Emperor back in 2000 but I remember being at a friend's house at some unholy hour. He had MTvX on in the background and " Just got Wicked" came on. My knee-jerk was "Korn clones" and I didn't think anything else about them. A few weeks later they turned up at a festival and outshined every other band. Bought both albums that night.

I lost all interest by "A Different Kind of Pain" but I still love the 2nd and 3rd album.
