Hatebreed.

Hate. Breed.

Of all the repetitious crap out there, they have to agree to tour with them.

And yet there are thousands upon thousands of people who want Slipknot and Mushroomhead to tour together and some idiot out sitting at the board conference table thinks that wouldn't sell.

You can love/hate either band, but you have to at least somewhat agree that the amount of creativity that would be poured into a show like that would be god-tier and ticket and merch sales would be nuts.

It makes NO sense for this to not happen.

Call me a sellout, but if these guys were playing together in a major market, I would take nonstop from here in Beijing to see them. Hatebreed are stand-up guys and have always put on a great show. I appreciate Slipknot for keeping some form of metal in the mainstream. No offense guys, but I love to see a big heavy metal show in an arena, not the Riot Room in Kansas City where they can't fit more than 200 people.

I saw Slipknut a couple years ago with Trivium and Coheed and they were worthless. Personally I like Trivium and Coheed more than Slipknot but we showed up barely 30 minutes late and missed Trivium completely and the stage was already cleared and set for Coheed who also played a set not worth showing up for.

Damn knot touring with big name bands and raking it in. ( korn, breed, log)
Post 3 I agree with the worthless performance take in 12-13, I will say if you watch their knot fest performance from last year its a bit better..
.5 was a better album than their last 2 records but it wasn't on the level of iowa, I guess that's impossible now after you fired the drummer who was a big part of the heart and soul of the band, but despite all that they were one of the best live acts when they first came out.

The new slipknot album is boring apart from 3 songs it lacks the energy they had in the past and seems forced

Personally, this gonna be awesome tour. No spittin' my caustic opinions on either band just like some of the folks doing here, I really feel this show will kick butt.

@Mr Singh - Knot's new album is pretty good. Not outstanding but still hard hitting. Songwriting, drums and bass took over the new album over the fence and delivered way better than All Hope Is Gone. This is a very strong release and has easily escalated last few records easily.

Saw Slipknot a few times, they are very hit and miss.
2013 at Download was good, but this latest UK tour (with Korn) was not so good. Neither Clown nor Jim Root looked particularly happy on stage.
Looked like a band who aren't getting along right now.
