Children Of Bodom's latest studio album "Halo Of Blood" (reviewed here) has been certified gold in Finland.
The band was awarded the gold discs during the packed Bodom Xmas Bash show at Pakkahuone in Tampere. "Halo Of Blood" has sold more than 10,000 copies in Finland.
Keyboardist Janne Wirman commented: ”Physical albums don’t sell that much anymore so we are very thankful for this. Reaching gold or platinum levels cannot be taken for granted”.

"The new stuff sucks!" Same old story. You guys ever considered the fact that maybe you just don't like that band anymore? And you only like their older stuff because you're nostalgic? Naw, that can't be it. Keep fighting the good fight.
It's an obvious troll or purely stubborn to think that 'Halo of Blood' is mediocre. If you don't like it, fine; but it is far from mediocre when taken objectively.

Selling a lot of records does not equal a great record. This will only motivate them to continue to crap out mediocre album after mediocre album........
Follow the Reaper and Hatecrew Deathroll are the best they'll ever do.
