Ethereal Blood Splits With Guitar Player Thanatos

Chicago's Ethereal Blood has checked in with the following update about parting ways with the band's guitarist:

"Attention lecherous listeners! Allow us a moment to clear up some of the confusion that has shrouded the group's affairs as of late. We received a significant amount of questions from friends and fans collectively who expressed concern over the fate of Ethereal Blood.

"First and foremost, we are not disbanding or breaking up! Our lead guitarist Thanatos has chosen to depart the band due to personal problems that he can not reconcile whilst also performing the duties of a dedicated musician and though it is with some melancholy that we will no longer be graced by his presence, this is far from the end.

"Nephilim, Abyss, and Lord Vardoulacha will continue to invoke the unholy, write, rehearse, and record unimpaired. The only facet of the band's priorities that will suffer is the live aspect. We will not be able to put on performances until we integrate a new lead guitarist into the line up.

"We are actively seeking suitable candidates not only for Thanatos's replacement but also for a proficient drummer (we grow weary of drum machines). If you are a musician in the area that enjoys dark music, debauchery, and f(r)iendship, do not hesitate to summon us. A simple Facebook message will illicit hasty communication.

"Back to the shadows for now..."
