Arbiter Posts "Bang Bang" Cover Lyric Video
The self-aware entertainers from Arbiter have Rick-trolled their own fans, showed the world how to write breakdowns with playing cards, and put up 80 other mildly entertaining videos on their official YouTube channel.
Now 2014 draws to a close and Arbiter is going out with a Bang Bang — with a cover of Jessie J's Top 40 hit of the same name featuring Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. Arbiter's version of "Bang Bang" will be featured on the "Djent Rolls Deep Vol. 2" compilation put together It Djents and The Djent-lemen's Club, in addition to a full-scale release via Famined Records.
"It is a total blast to listen to," boasts Connor Arbiter, vocalist of the band. "I mean [our cover of 'Bang Bang'] pays hilarious tribute—and parody—to both the original song, pop music and of course the contrasting metal music memes and bands everyone in the community knows and loves." Connor adds that the song has "plenty of zeroes" and sounds "more Meshuggah than Meshuggah does."
"Guys in metal bands will be sending this song to their crushes on Valentine's Day next year, I guarantee it." Connor adds some closing thoughts. "It totally captures the "metal br0 love life."
