Portrait Announces New U.K. Tour Dates

Sweden's Portrait is pleased to announce a seven date tour of the U.K. and Ireland in support of third album "Crossroads."

Commencing in early 2015, the band will lay waste to venues the length and breadth of the country in a blaze of twin-guitar fuelled metal mayhem. Entitled the "Seven Ageless Rites UK and Ireland Tour," these shows will see Portrait take glorious, galloping, honest heavy metal to a whole new audience.

Support on this tour comes in the form of Northern Ireland's Rabid Bitch Of The North. Dates are as follows:

30/01/14 IE - Limerick - Dolan's Warehouse
31/01/14 IE - Dublin - Gypsy Rose Rock and Blues Bar
01/02/14 UK - Belfast - Voodoo
03/02/14 UK - Glasgow - Ivory Blacks
04/02/14 UK - Lancaster - The Yorkshire House
06/02/14 UK - Birmingham - The Asylum
07/02/14 UK - London - Black Heart Camden

In support of these dates and the "Crossroads" album, the band will also be releasing a split album entitled "Under Command" on Metal Blade, together with brothers-in-arms Ram on December 5th. Consisting of six songs (three from each band), the three Portrait songs on offer will feature an exclusive, brand-new tune entitled "Martial Lead," a cover of the Ram song "Blessed to be Cursed," and the band's unique take on the classic Exciter song "Aggressor."
