Moonspell Checks In From The Recording Studio

Moonspell is currently working on a new album to follow the "Alpha Noir" release, and afterwards the Portuguese Gothic metal act will hit the road with Septicflesh (dates available here).

The band has now checked in with the following update about the recording process: "Scenes from the studio! Different moods, different songs. Half of the album is done tracking. Other half to come. I am having a great time, Jens is great, my band supportive through my highs and lows. Can't wait to share this album and lyrics with you and I am sure you won't be indifferent to them. Well it's back to the booth now. Have a great week everyone!"

Last week Moonspell also issued this update on the vocals: "Everything is going great and he is singing his most personal and perhaps best lyrics ever. The vocal approach will be a bit different this time, more melodic and dark, but I am sure the true fans will love to get closer to his dark soul even more than on the previous records."
