Cannibal Corpse Singer Rushed To Hospital

Cannibal Corpse lead singer George "Corpsegrinder" Fischer was rushed to a hospital on Tuesday (Nov. 16) causing him to miss the group's scheduled performance at The World in Pittsburgh last night. The band, who are currently touring North America with Napalm Death, Macabre, Kataklysm and Goatwhore, did not give specifics as to what Fischer's illness was, but a member of the Cannibal Corpse road crew announced to the crowd that Fischer was "extremely sick and has spent the day in the hospital." The band proceeded to play an instrumental set and were eventually joined by Kataklysm frontman Maurizo Iacono, who valiantly handled many Cannibal Corpse classics with the aid of the crowd.

Doors open at 6:30. My buddies' band is playing "Forcefed Flesh", they are opening for Napalm Death and Misery Index. Other bands are: Goatwhore, Strong intention and With Anger. Tickets are $15. It's going to be a great underground show, Forcefed Flesh is a Death Metal Band that has explosive energy, and great talent, so go support the local underground scene in Baltimore if you can.
