Svartidaudi Picked For Roadburn Festival
Svartidaudi has checked in with the following announcement about playing the upcoming Roadburn Festival:
"We are extremely proud to announce that Svartidauði will break bones and slit throat at next year's installation of Roadburn Festival. Handpicked for the curated night 'House of the Holistic' by Ivar Bjørnson of Enslaved and Einar 'Kvitrafn' Selvik of Wardruna."
Einar had this to say about the band: "Svartidaudi is for me the most interesting Black Metal band I´ve heard in a very long time coming from the North which makes it a very natural choice to welcome them into our curated night!"
Enslaved's Ivar Bjørnson also adds: "What happened with black metal? Whatever it was, you can't blame Svartidauði. They're making interesting, weird and dark music instead of being sexy and circusy. They embody the spirit that once bound me to the genre, and we are very proud and privileged to have them as part of Houses of the Holistic!”
