Vile Regression To Release "Empires" Album
Formed from the ashes of Irish extreme metal outfit Vistor Q, Vile Regression hit the scene in 2010 and subsequently released debut record "The Pattern Evolves" in 2011 via Casket Music.
Vile Regression went on from the release to share stages with prolific heavyweights such as Dyscarnate, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Unearth. 2013 saw the band head back to the studio to record a new installment titled "Empires."
Today details on "Empires" have been announced. The track listing will be as follows:
1. Tides
2. Raze The Complexity
3. Dream Of The Red Chamber
4. Thought Replication
5. The Abstract
6. Down To A Sunless Sea
7. The Empyrean Divide
"Empires" will be released independently on July 21st, 2014. The band also comments on the coming release:
“We feel, ‘Empires’ is a very powerful word, invoking strength and confidence. The title came from the overarching theme within the lyrics, that being positivity and empowerment in ones life. While 'The Pattern Evolves' dealt with very specific themes of corruption and governments, ‘Empires’ is much more positive. Lyrically the songs deal with different aspects of human emotions such as reaching your potential in life and being the master of your own empire. Songs such as ‘Raze The Complexity’ and ‘The Abstract’ are basically about being confident in yourself and purging the toxic and harmful elements around you."
