The Meatmen Post New Song "Dinosaur"
The Meatmen are getting ready to drop their first album of new material in 19 years, titled "Savage Sagas," and Decibel magazine has an exclusive stream of one of the new songs. The track, "Dinosaur," is playing at this location. This track had been conceived by Tesco Vee back in 1996 with an older line-up, and he finally got around to recording it.
"Savage Sagas" will be unveiled on Self Destructo Records on May 27th. Craig Horky from Lansing, MI - a big EC Comics fan - did the artwork for the release. The Meatmen will hit the road after the release, embarking on Punk Rock Bowling, a two week west coast tour in May/June, and shows with Antiseen, Black Fag and Gang Green. Check out the dates below.

Sonic, I thought Black Flag was Greg Ginn with other fill-ins. Maybe that's what you meant by the tribute comment.
Having never seen them, I can't say one way or the other. I know Ginn was arguably the biggest component of the Flag, but it seems unlikely that the old spark is still there after all these years. IMO, without Rollins or Dez Cadena on Vocals, A 'new' Black Flag doesn't interest me.

DJ, I wasn't talking about Flag or Black Flag, but the "absolutely fabulous" tribute band Black Fag. They have vocalist Liberace Morris, guitarist Greg Streisand, bassist Cher "The Dyke" Dykeowski, drummer Robo Simmons and kickline - Bugger, Raymond Pettiboner, Joe CarGucci. I'd post the facebook page link or the youtube links, but I'd get delayed due to spam.
