Tyr Wins 2013 Faroese Music Awards

Tyr has been honored in the band's homeland with three awards at this year's Faroese Music Awards festivities.

The band won in the catagories of Band of the Year 2013, Album of the Year 2013, and Album cover of the Year 2013. Fans can learn more about the awards at this location and watch a national news broadcast where KVF TV mentions Tyr as one of the two big winners.

Tyr is currently on tour with Children of Bodom for the "Halo of Blood over North America" tour. Upcoming Tyr dates are available after the jump. The band's latest album "Valkyrja" was released in September of 2013.
