Metallica Releases "One (Awards Show Rehearsal Version)"

In a step closer to spiral_architect's prediction of a collaborative album, Metallica & Lang Lang today released "One (Awards Show Rehearsal Version)."
The song was recorded on January 23rd at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles, CA during rehearsals for the 56th annual Grammy Awards.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Music Cares, and the track can be bought at iTunes here.

Meanwhile, the best attention they could get is to actually write some solid, hard-hitting metal songs and hire a no-nonsense metal producer to tell them what to do.
Ironically, these arty experiments and avant-garde fiddlefaddling around are what people expect from Metallica these days. Surprise us by giving us a [well produced] metal record!
