The Catalyst Parts Ways With Drummer Denis Potapov

Canadian metallers The Catalyst have issued the following update about parting ways with their drummer:

"Some sad news to report today from The Catalyst. Our current drummer, Denis Potapov, has decided to leave the band for personal reasons. He will play his last show with us November 25, 2009 @ Cafe Chaos and the best part is that IT'S FREE! So come on down and watch Denis play with The Catalyst one last time. It was fun brother and you will be missed! We wish him the best of luck with all his future endeavors. As well, Simon McKay from The Agonist will be helping us out on the drums for some upcoming shows, always appreciated, stay tuned for more details.

"With that being said, we will be holding drummer auditions as of right now. If you think you have the intensity and skill to play our music, as well as the proper gear and full time commitment to a touring band, then please do not hesitate to email us immediately: Email: thecatalystband@gmail.com or Myspace. Thank you all for the support up until now. Things will only get bigger and better."
