Darkest Hour, Himsa Tour Dates Being Unveiled
Dates are continuing to leak out for next year's highly anticipated metalcore all star tour featuring DARKEST HOUR, HIMSA, A LIFE ONCE LOST, THE ACACIA STRAIN, and DEAD TO FALL. Confirmed dates so far are:

The Acacia Strain Writing, To Begin Recording
THE ACACIA STRAIN, have booked studio time for recording the follow up to 2004’s 3750. The new album, scheduled for a late-spring release date through Prosthetic Records, will tentatively be called VICTIMS, a name sure to conjure up images of those left in the band’s wake of brutality.
Recording will begin Dec. 1 with seasoned producer Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage, All That Remains), who was previously responsible for the bludgeoning sound of 3750. The band is currently at work finishing material for the new album, as well as playing a few shows in the Northeast around Halloween where they will continue showcasing new tunes.

Hellfest 2005 Schedule Released
The entire schedule for Hellfest has finally been released. HELLFEST 2K5 takes place on August 19-21 at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. BTBAM Changes San Antonio Venue
There has been a venue change in the Between the Buried and Me, The Red Chord, The Acacia Strain and Premonitions of War show in San Antonio, TX on August 10. The show has moved from The Sanctuary to White Rabbit.

Danzig Confirmed To Headline NEMHF
Danzig and special guest Doyle have been confirmed as the Saturday headliner for the seventh annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, to be held Friday-Sunday, April 22-24 at the Palladium in Worcester, Mass.
In addition to the regular Danzig set, Doyle with join the band for a blistering 30-minute set of classic Misfits material. Danzig and Doyle have performed together just three times during Danzig’s recent tour – their first performances together in over 21 years.
Hatebreed, Unearth and Obituary will headline Friday night.
Saturday’s other headliners will include Chimaira and Cryptopsy.
Sunday’s headliners are King Diamond, Nile and Soilwork.

The Acacia Strain have parted ways with long-time drummer Ben Abert for unspecified reasons. Bury Your Dead's Mark Castillo is currently filling in as the group recruits a replacement. Serious candidates can contact the band for more information.
The Acacia Strain Records New Album, Shoots Video
Massachusetts' The Acacia Strain recently recorded a new album entitled "3750." The effort was recorded and produced by Adam Dutkiewicz (of Killswitch Engage) at Zing Studios and is currently being mastered by Alan Douches. You can download two tracks from the effort, which should be available in late-Spring. Meanwhile, the band has also posted their new video for "Smoke Ya Later," which features Dutkiewicz.
