Tomahawk Festival Canceled

The Tomahawk Festival, which was set to take place on March 13th, 2010 in Germany, has official been canceled. The organizers of the festival posted a message on their website citing poor ticket sales as the reason for the cancellation. More info on the festival can be found at this location. Obituary and Persefone, who were scheduled to perform at the festival, will still play on March 13th, 2010 instead at the N8 Club in Osnabruck.

Persefone Signs to Kolony Records

Kolony Records has signed Andorrean symphonic death metal band PERSEFONE to release band's third album, "Shin-Ken," in early February 2010. The album is based upon ancient Japanese war-stories, and it’s a tour de force, down the melodic and symphonic death metal style that defines todays PERSEFONE. The album was mixed and mastered at Jailhouse studios (Helloween, Hatesphere, Illdisposed) by Tommy Hansen in April 2009.
