Adelitas Way Streaming New Single

After the release of a cryptic teaser, Las Vegas outfit Adelitas Way has officially dropped new single "Dog On a Leash." Pick up your copy at iTunes here or stream the track below.

"Dog On a Leash" is the first release from Adelitas Way since "Home School Valedictorian," released on 2011. Under producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones, Evanescence), the band has been hard at work on a new album for the past several months. You can also see the band live:

Adelitas Way Announces New Single

Las Vegas outfit Adelitas Way has announced a new single titled "Dog On a Leash" in the form of a cryptic video teaser (available below). The single will be available for purchase on iTunes this coming April 8th.

The track will be included on a full-length Virgin Records release later in the year. The band has been hard at work in a secluded studio with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Evanescence) for the past several months.

In an interview with Loudwire, vocalist Rick DeJesus mentions, "The cool thing about this studio in the middle of nowhere is we really have time to focus on the music and to focus on our task, which is making the best rock record that comes out."

Taco Bell Announces Feed The Beat Bands

Taco Bell has announced its 2012 Feed the Beat roster, which includes 100 up-and-coming artists from across the United States who will receive $500 in Taco Bell gift cards to keep their hunger satisfied on the road.

The new lineup marks the most diverse Feed the Beat group yet – ranging from rock bands to DJs to country artists – some of whom will be given the unique opportunity to be a part of the brand’s marketing campaigns.

This year's rock and metal leaning bands include Adelitas Way, Chelsea Grin, Periphery, and We Came As Romans. For a complete list of bands and more info on the program, fans and interested artists can head to this location.

Rockstar Uproar Festival Tour Routing Revealed

The third annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival will kick off August 17th in Kansas City, MO, criss-crossing the U.S. before wrapping up on September 30th in Albuquerque, NM. See below for the current tour dates, cities, and venues.

Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Lineup Announced

The third annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar festival returns this August and September for more than 30 shows throughout North America. The main stage features multi-platinum rock bands Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, and Papa Roach, along with breaking band Adelitas Way.

In addition, the Ernie Ball Stage and Jägermeister Stage in the festival area will include performances from multi-platinum headliners P.O.D., as well as up-and-coming artists Fozzy, Deuce, Redlight King, Mindset Evolution (winner of the 2011 Best Buy Music Gear Battle Of The Bands Powered By Ernie Ball), In This Moment, Thousand Foot Krutch, Candlelight Red, and a local battle of the bands winner.

Sevendust Brings The Heat To Nashville

Sevendust coming to Nashville is a rarity, despite the show with Disturbed and Korn at the beginning of the year. If you’re keen on Sevendust history, you’d know that lead vocalist Lajon Witherspoon is Nashville-born. However, in 2002, his brother Reginald was shot and killed here, and the band had been reluctant to play many shows here throughout the last decade. It seems things are a bit more relaxed in the Sevendust camp these days, and Nashville opened her arms to welcome them back again.

There’s a general rule of thumb on lines for shows. For a major band, the line will double in length every twenty minutes about an hour before the doors open. For The Cannery Ballroom on the 21st, that line stretched out quite a ways as fans lined up to get in. Sevendust had brought tour-mates Adelitas Way, Seven Day Sonnet, and Violence To Vegas.
