Upon Shadows Collaborates On Beltane Track
Uruguay based act Upon Shadows has issued the following announcement about keyboardist Tamara Picardo contributing for an upcoming Beltane track:
"I'm pleased to announce my participation on keyboards, in the Beltane new song 'Yet Again.' I wanted to give the thanks to Beltane for giving me the oportunity to participate in this great new song. Was a real pleasure to collaborate with such a good musicians and I hope to be able to do more participation with them...
"Beltane, New Zealand's longest running Black Metal band, are due to release an interim single from their upcoming 5th album (and 21st CD!) due to be released in June. The song is called 'Yet Again' and will be released as a free download/stream track on their Reverb Nation / Myspace / Facebook pages on March 19th.
"The song features the drums of Chris Warhead from Abazagorath (USA) & the Keyboards of Tamara Picardo from Upon Shadows (Uruguay). Beltane's previous releases are available from Satanica Productions together with 150+ other original metal bands of all sub-genres."

Asbel Comments On Upcoming Album
Columbian black metal act Asbel released the album "The Dark, The Withered" via Salute Records on March 26th, 2010. Asbel has now checked in with the following update about working on a new album, which will feature several guest female vocalists:
"According to the great acceptance for the latest album 'The Dark, The Withered 2010' With female vocalists from Canada, Uruguay, Colombia and Turkey. Asbel decides to release The Dark The Withered Volume II, This time with the participation of female vocalists from Chile, USA, Colombia, Uruguay, Canada, Mexico, Argentina and Hungary. Uruguay based dark symphonic metallers Upon Shadows are currently offering two previous demo albums as free downloads. The band's 2003 self-titled demo can be found at this location and their 2009 "The Circle of Time" demo can be downloaded here.
