Kongh's front-man, David Johansson, commented: "After a very long time of hard work, this album is finally ready for release. We couldn't be more happy with the way it turned out and I really think it is the best Kongh material so far. For our old fans, I am pretty sure it will be well worth the wait and I also think it holds great potential to satisfy a bunch of new listeners. In my opinion, the album is more dynamic and has much more emphasis on melodies than our previous works. At the same time it maintains the harshness and it's undoubtedly the heaviest slab of metal we've done as well."

The track listing is:

1. Sole Creation
2. Tamed Brute
3. The Portals

Kongh Signs To Agonia Records

Agonia Records has issued the following announcement about inking a deal with Swedish act Kongh:

"It is with great pleasure Agonia Records welcome Doom Metal outfit KONGH to the label's roster. This relatively new band, formed back in 2004, has quickly risen amongst the ranks of Swedish acts worth watching, being nominated to the P3 Guld Award (Swedish equivalent of the Grammy Awards) for their debut album. After a successful and intense tour with critically acclaimed YOB in September and October of 2011, KONGH focused on writing their 3rd to date album: yet untitled and expected for early 2013."

The band also commented:

"Three years have passed since our last album was released, and we're stoked to announce that the song writing for a whole new album is now finalized. We'll skip the in-depth details for now since it's nearly possible to give a sensible description of your own music, but there's definitely some new twists and dimensions there as well as the traditional Kongh riffage. One thing we can say for sure is that we're very enthusiastic about the songs and we cannot wait to enter the studio! It will happen at the end of the summer, with Karl Daniel Lidén (Dozer, Switchblade) in the engineering seat.

"Another thing we're happy about is the new record deal with Agonia Records. We've been in touch with them for well over a year now, and while we've had a few offers from different labels, Agonia was the one which seemed to suit us best. Our expectations are high and we're sure this will turn out great."

Kongh Parts Ways With Bassist

Sweden's Kongh has issued the following announcement about parting ways with bassist Oskar Ryden:

"As the ones who attended our shows last weekend already know, Kongh is now temporarily a 2-piece. Our bass player Oskar Rydén, who's been in the band since 2006, has parted ways with the band. Thanks for your time Oskar, and good luck with your future achievements.

"Since we released our second album 'Shadows of the shapeless' last year, we've put as much of our time and energy as possible into touring and promoting the album. Now we feel like we're done touring this time around, and what we've had in mind for the autumn for a while now is to lock ourselves up in the rehearsal space and focus hard on writing our third album. Anyone who wants to see us live with this temporary line-up can do so in September while we're playing in Vetlanda on the 3rd, Leipzig (with Ufomammut) on the 15th and hopefully in Stockholm (with Switchblade) on the 14th.

"For those wondering, the bassist position is free and we're open for suggestions. Anyone who really knows how to handle a bass and has a strong passion for the kind of music we play is free to get in touch. Hometown, age or gender isn't of any big importance, but you haveto be able to practise in Vetlanda, Småland every now and then, and have the time and ambition to occasionally tour. Interested? Kongh has issued the following update about signing a record deal with Seventh Rule:

"We're very glad to announce that our most recent album 'Shadows of the Shapeless' is soon being released in the US.
