Armored Saint Launch Their Own Beer
Decibel Metal & Beer Fest: Los Angeles (December 1st and 2nd), presented by Metal Blade Records, continues its mission of pairing the most extreme minds in music and craft beer with Symbol Of Salvation Belgian Blonde Ale - a collaboration between Armored Saint (who will be performing at the sold-out official festival pre-party) and participating brewery Metal Monkey Brewing (Romeoville, IL).
Brewed with Grains of Paradise and Pacifica hops, Symbol Of Salvation offers a slight twist on the traditional style; the Grains of Paradise add a slightly spicy, woody character, while the Pacifica hops bring to the party an aroma and flavor reminiscent of orange marmalade. The beer will first be tapped at the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest: Los Angeles - where Armored Saint will also be signing at 7 PM on December 1st. Enjoy Symbol Of Salvation with Armored Saint at the festival by purchasing your ticket now at decibelmagazine.com. More...

Armored Saint Posts New Music Video
Los Angeles, California's Armored Saint has had a banner year with the release of seventh studio album, "Win Hands Down," in addition to playing massive European festivals, crushing the masses across a North American co-headlining run with metal legends Saxon, and now wrapping-up the year with a very striking new music video for the blistering new track, “An Exercise In Debauchery."
The clip was shot by Brian Cox (Hollywood Undead, Prong) and can be seen below, courtesy of Loudwire. John Bush (vocals) states:
"I’m so happy with the way this video turned out. The song has a heavy subject matter and the video compliments it perfectly. There’s also a feeling of campiness which makes the viewer fade in & out of being uncomfortable and having a chuckle. The actors did a great job and personal props to my neighbor Sharon who let it all out as the police officer. Oh yeah, the band looks bad ass as well. Debauchery indeed."
Joey Vera (bass) further adds: "We're psyched to play these upcoming shows. First at M15 in Corona, CA. We haven't played Riverside County in a long time, so this is gonna be sick! Then after Thanksgiving, we head out to Europe for two headline shows and two festivals with legends Accept. What a great way for us to end this year. We're cooking up more shows for 2016, so we'll see you all soon!” More...

ProgPower USA XVI, Part 2: Project Dragonland
Daybreak…..September 10th. Going out to the Artmore the previous evening was lame by comparison to the rest of the weekend. Though sold out, the Mid-Week Mayhem show after party just isn’t as big because many of the fans and musicians haven’t arrived to the area quite yet, so a 3:00am turn in time may as well have been midnight.
Waking at 7:00am, I trudged over to the Residence Inn’s quality free hot breakfast on floor 2. Today was the day….it would all hang on Dragonland – the band I’ve been lusting over since the announcement came a year ago. The Kick-Off event has always been a special occasion, but since Nathan Block of Swordlord took over, the bar has been raised dramatically…for me. That is, if you are a power metal fanboy, Nathan is your man. More...
