Witches Mark Posts New Music Video

Texas metal act Witches Mark posted a new music video for the track "Witching Metal Ritual." The track features Ex-Manowar guitarist Ross the Boss (Death Dealer) and is the title track to the band's debut full length LP, which is due for release via Heaven & Hell Records on July 15th.

“Witching Metal Ritual” features eight tracks of uncompromising metal glory blending elements of thrash, speed, doom, black, and death while anchoring their overall sound firmly within the framework of traditional heavy metal. A teaser for the album can be heard over at this location.

The album was co-produced by Witches Mark and Stuart “Batlord” Laurence (Agony Column/Ignitor). Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Brendon Bigelow (Ignitor/Death Of Millions) “Witching Metal Ritual” features a stunning post-apocalyptic inspired album cover courtesy of Yannick Bouchard of Illusory Dreams.

Other guest appearances on the album include: Jack Starr (Virgin Steele/Burning Starr) Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys/Watchtower/Ignitor/Broken Teeth) and Martin Debourge (Damien Thorne/Head Transfer Process).

Witches Mark Posts Rehearsal Footage

Witches Mark has uploaded rehearsal footage of the band performing "Swarm" with Texas metal legend and South Texas Walk of Fame alumni Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys, Broken Teeth, Watchtower, Ignitor), who also guests on the studio version of "Swarm" as featured on the band's upcoming "Witching Metal Ritual" full length. Witches Mark Streams Rough Mix Of New Track

Texas traditional metal band Witches Mark is streaming the rough mix of the new track "Bringers of Heavy Metal Death" (heard below). The song will appear on the band's debut full length LP "Witching Metal Ritual" with a tentative release date in late Summer/Early Fall through Heaven and Hell Records.

"Witching Metal Ritual" was recorded and engineered by Stuart Laurence (Agony Column/Ignitor) at Isotope Studios and features the artwork of Canadian artist Yannick Bouchard of Illusory Dreams (seen below). The album features the addition of the band's new drummer Scott Palmer (Of The Fallen/Demontuary) and the debut on lead vocals for guitarist Robb Bockman.

Witches Mark Interview Footage Available

The members of Texas based metal band Witches Mark were recently interviewed on SlayedinOregon.com before the performance at The East End in Portland over this past Memorial Day weekend. A video of the interview is available in the player below.

The band is set to release its debut full length LP "Witching Metal Ritual" for a tentative late summer/fall drop, which will feature guitarist Robb Bockman's debut on lead vocals and new drummer Scott Palmer. The album was recorded at Isotope Studios with engineer Stuart Laurence.

Witches Mark Reveals New EP Details

Texas based traditional heavy metal band Witches Mark have announced that their debut EP will be titled "A Grim Apparition." The EP is currently set to be released through Heaven & Hell Records on October 27th, 2009. Samples of the four song EP can be heard at the official Witches Mark MySpace page.
