First Bands and Dates Announced For MDF 2015
The first round of band confirmations have been made for Maryland Deathfest 2015. The thirteenth edition of the festival will take place in Baltimore, Maryland from May 21-24, 2015.

Dates that each band performs and running times will not be set until closer to the festival dates.
The organizers are satisfied with the venue situation this year and have decided to use the same set up next year. This means that Maryland Deathfest 2015 will use the Edison Lot (located at 545 N. High St) for the two main stages, Rams Head (located at 20 Market Place) will be used each night and will host death/black metal bands, and Soundstage (located at 124 Market Pl) will be used each day/night for grind/hardcore/punk bands. On Thursday, only Rams Head will be used.
Impetuous Ritual Finishes New Album
Australian metaphysical occult death metal band Impetuous Ritual has completed work on new album “Unholy Congregation Of Hypocritical Ambivalence.” The album will drop via Profound Lore on April 15th, and the label also comments:
"Manifesting what will be one of the darkest, swarming and suffocating death metal albums of the year, the follow-up to 'Relentless Execution Of Ceremonial Excrescence' takes the brutal and atmospheric sound paradigm Impetuous Ritual have forged and morphs it into a more advanced level of unrelenting sonic terror. Impetuous Ritual Streaming Re-Pressed Album
It was previously announced that the Vasaeleth album "Crypt Born & Tethered To Ruin" would be re-pressed by Profound Lore Records for the upcoming Rites of Darkness Festival. The record label has now also announced the "Relentless Execution Of Ceremonial Excrescence" album from Australia's Impetuous Ritual will be re-pressed for the festival as well.
You can stream the entire album in the player available below. The Impetuous Ritual album also comes in time for the band's U.S. tour with Ritual Necromancy and Grave Upheaval en route to Rites Of Darkness where the Aussies will desecrate U.S. soil for the first time.
