September Mourning Posts New Music Video Online
Hard rock, graphic novel art Project September Mourning storms into 2021 with a visually stunning music video for their newest single, "Kill This Love." Originally premiered on Metal Injection the video was created by Rich Juzwick and is the follow up to "Wake The Dead" in preparation for the band's upcoming full length release, Volume IV; "Kill This Love" is their second single partnered with Legend Recordings & INgrooves.
"’Kill this Love’ is the musical adaptation of a specific feeling.... the heaviness one feels in their heart when it becomes the obvious prey of someone or something they cannot escape from.
"The music alternates back and forth from heavy to sparse in an almost agitated way as to depict the emotional rollercoaster of the lyric.
"As pertaining to the comic, ‘Kill this Love’ depicts the inner struggle of the protagonist September as she looks back on her battle with Fate and the strange pull he seems to have over her. She struggles internally with her desire to fight for what she loves and the pain it brings her." - September More...

Dope/Combichrist Conquer Austin, Texas
April 3rd, 2017
The Blood, Lust Death Tour arrived at Grizzly Hall in Austin, Texas with one of the best industrial packages of the year. A reunited Dope took the stage with Combichrist, September Mourning and Davey Suicide supporting. While there were quite a few Combichrist fans supporting wearing the band’s t-shirts, the headliner certainly brought in the most people.
Before the tour bands got underway, though, there were some locals. Sine was the first local act I was able to catch at the early hour of 7 PM. Doors at Grizzly opened at 6, so the opener was without much of a crowd. They might have only played in front of 25 people, but Sine played like they were in front of a crowd in triple digits. Their front woman, Rona Rogueheart had a beautiful-yet-aggressive voice. The band played dark industrial music with a synthetic quality that was very danceable, thus they did their job and warmed up the venue for the headliners. More...
September Mourning Releases New Video
September Mourning just released an official music video for "20 Below," taken off the "Volume II" album, which is out now on Sumerian Records.
"20 Below" follows the continuing story of human-reaper hybrid September through parallel story lines as she is pursued between two worlds. The band further comments: "'20 Below' is about ending the cycle of abuse within our own lives, whether it's self inflicted or from an outside source.
"We’ve all had those relationships where someone has gotten close to us, abuses us in some way… knocks us down so hard it diminishes our self esteem. '20 Below' is about the realization that the beat down feeling and feelings of worthlessness are untrue and being caused by some external negativity. It's about being strong enough within your own self to rise above.
"There are no saviors or messiah coming to save us. There's only the strength in our hearts and our souls, which is greater than we can even conceive. It’s great enough to be the catalyst to save our own selves if we find a way to tap into that part of ourselves." More...

Mortiis will make a long-awaited return to the United States this fall as the band joins Mushroomhead for a month-long warm up tour in preparation for the release of "The Great Deceiver."
"The idea of going back on the road fills me with a weird sense of excitement and dread," said frontman and namesake Mortiis. "'The Great Deceiver' is not far away - at long last - and we´re getting back out there, brushing off the dust and rust, to get ready for that, and whatever lies beyond."
The group, which hasn't toured the American shores since a 2006 trek with the Genitorturers and the 2005 Blackest of the Black tour, will preview material from the upcoming ninth album, as well as reaching back to favorites from the ensemble's ever-evolving catalog of music.
"The Great Deceiver," which has remained in a torturous state of constant evolution until just recently, led the band through the darkest of places and back. The anger, frustration and disgust that permeate the record will be loud and clear in Mortiis' hostile live performance. More...
