Finnish act Kypck has issued the following announcement about replacing the band's drummer:
"Kypck's line-up is going through some changes, as K. H. M. Hiilesmaa steps down from the drums. It is however very possible that he will produce Kypck's albums in the future as well. Hiilesmaa, now concentrating on his studio/producing work, comments: 'Making albums and for example touring takes a lot of time, so I had to make a very painful decision and leave Kypck's drum stool for someone else. I still strongly believe that the band will bathe in rubles already in the near future.'
"Hiilesmaa's replacement has already been chosen - A.K. Karihtala, previously known from for example Charon. At the same time, live guitarist S. Kukkohovi has been cemented into the band as a permanent member. The band is already writing new material.
"Also, there are two new shows confirmed - at Nuclear Nightclub (Oulu, Finland) on November 11th-12th, 2011. These will be the first KYPCK shows for A.K. Karihtala."
The organisers of the Czech Republic's Brutal Assault festival has announced a further three confirmations for this year's event. Newly added to the bill are Scottish hardcore punk/crossover thrash legends The Exploited, Bay Area thrash veterans Forbidden and American mathcore outfit The Dillinger Escape Plan. The festival will take place from August 11th-13th in Josefov, Czech Republic.

Finnish act Kypck has issued the following announcement about the band's new album "Nizhe" entering the charts:
"Nizhe charted in the official Finnish Album Charts at position 16! In Rumba's Album Charts, which takes into count the albums sold from specialized record shops nationwide, Nizhe is number 2! Thanks, folks!"

Finland's Kypck has issued the following announcement about releasing a new album in February:
"Release date for the new album February 9th, 2011! Good news, the long wait is finally coming to an end! The release of KYPCK's second full length album has been set for February 9th, 2011. The album is titled ????, pronounced /nizhe/ and translating to 'Lower.' Total playing time of ???? is approximately 1 hour. More details coming soon."

Finland's Kypck had previously announced the band was in negotiations with a record label to release a new album. The band has now issued the following brief statement about splitting with the company and seeking a new label to release the album: "Moving on, looking for a new label The ridiculous waiting game with the previously mentioned label has been put to an end. Finland's Kypck has issued the following update about the progress of the band's new album:
"Kypck's new full length album has been completed for already 5 months now, but surprisingly and extremely frustratingly the agreement between the band and their new record company still remains unconfirmed.
"Recording the album the band was under the assumption that everything was clear, but that turned out to not be the case. The band now hopes for an autumn release for the new album. Despite numerous requests there will be no live shows until the new album is out."

New York hardcore legends Agnostic Front will now be performing at the festival, along with other new confirmation, Swedish black metal artists Watain. The festival takes place in the town of Josefov from August 12th-14th.
