Derelict has issued the following announcement about streaming a live studio session via online radio:
"Last April we did a live studio session on CJLO radio in Montreal. Those tracks have now surfaced online, so if you're craving some live Derelict, click here.

Derelict Recruits New Guitarist
Derelict vocalist Eric Burnet has issued the following announcement about recruiting a new guitarist:

Derelict has issued the following announcement about appearing on the free "Sounds To Destroy The Masses" compilation:

Derelict Announces New Bassist
Montreal based technical death metallers Derelict have announced the addition of bassist James McCallum to their lineup. "We’re excited to have James with us," says Derelict vocalist Eric Burnet, "he’s a skilled player and is adding his own flavor to the Unspoken Words songs. We’re anxious for the fans to hear what he can do." Below is a video of McCallum performing Polarized from the Unspoken Words album, currently available in stores across Canada and via Relapse Records in the US.
Derelict is currently working on the follow-up to 2009’s "Unspoken Words." "We have six songs completed, and several more awaiting finishing touches," states Burnet. "The writing is totally comfortable as we know exactly what we’re going for. We’re focusing on bringing out the best and most successful parts of our style as well as exploring some new territory."

Derelict Cancels Two Upcoming Shows
Canada's Derelict has issued the following update about canceling the previously scheduled live shows on August 13th and 14th:
"We regret to announce that we are forced to cancel our appearances on the 13th and 14th of August in Sherbrooke and Drummondville. Circumstances beyond our control arising at the last minute are the reason. We sincerely apologize to the fans and promoters of these events. We thank you all for your continued support! We’ll see you soon."

Canada's Derelict has checked in with the following update about seeking a new guitarist and bass player:
"As previously announced, Derelict is searching for new musicians to fill a guitar and a bass position. We are looking for dedicated, easy-going individuals. Absolute requirements include: - your own professional gear - the ability to make yourself available for regular practices, weekend (Fri-Sat) treks and eventual longer tours - the ability to invest in some band necessities (rehearsal space rent, vehicle costs, etc).

Derelict Comments On Fifth Anniversary
Derelict has issued the following update about the band's five year anniversary and announcement about parting ways with two members:
"Hello friends and fans. Eric here. June 2010 marks the five-year anniversary of when Daryl and I started playing together, the birth of what soon became Derelict. In five years, we have released three albums, embarked on three national tours, completed countless mini treks and one-offs, and experienced a lot of amazing things. I personally could not be prouder of what we have achieved.
"Our recently completed Northern Shores Tour confirmed the existence of a Derelict fan base all over the country, and for many of us was the confirmation that what we have been doing is being very well received. Unfortunately, many victories are shadowed by losses. We are sad to announce that Daryl and Joey will be leaving Derelict as of September. The road can be brutal, and life presents many opportunities outside of death metal that are just as fulfilling. We wish them well! More...

Derelict Comments On Upcoming Live Shows
Derelict has checked in with the following comments about their upcoming tour dates:
"Well, if I was salivating at the prospect of the tour in my last post, you can probably imagine that now I’m close to completely losing my mind. We kick this whole shin-dig off tonight with our show in Montreal supporting Job For A Cowboy and Whitechapel, which promises to be one of our biggest home town gigs to date. We had our final rehearsal last night and played everything. Our tour set lists will include Machete, Pirates, Summoning the Firestorm, Forth With The Herd, Polarized, Xenocide, Never Reborn, and Surrounded by Decline, all off Unspoken Words, as well as some new songs we’re road testing called Motivational Placebo, Destined, Expiry, and Lithification. We might also be able to throw in Demonizing from Unspoken Words, depending on Joey. He’s new to the band as many of you know, and he’s been killing himself to learn everything and keep up with us. Chances are Demonizing will be learned in the van while driving, so we should have some good video of that.
"Over the last two weeks there have also been a few listing changes for the shows, including second dates for both Winnipeg and Calgary, as well as many more event pages created. Here is the updated list so you can find the nearest show to you."

Derelict Announces Canadian Tour
Canada's Derelict has issued the following update about their upcoming tour dates:
"Yes indeed friends, we are crossing Canada once again. This tour is estimated at 6-weeks during May and June, and will cover all of Western of Canada, which is the main area we cannot hit easily during the rest of the year. There will be many more dates added, as well as some surprises along the way. If you see a hole in the tour that could fit your town, let us know! We're open to suggestions and want to play everywhere. Direct, area-specific updates will be sent out via Facebook, so please 'become a fan' of Derelict there too. Cheers!"
