Carvin's To Host "Shreds Of Insanity" Event

On Monday, August 26th, Carvin's Hollywood store will host its first-ever guitar exposition from 5-6PM.

Presented by Century Media Records, Dunlop Manufacturing, and Cleartone Strings, "Shreds of Insanity" will feature performances by four young guitar virtuosos on the rise in metal with special guest Francesco Artusato of All Shall Perish.

Participants will include Rick Di Marco of Death Division, Dave Silver of Savage Messiah, Parker Jameson of Starkill, and Jake Dreyer of White Wizzard.

As the name suggests, these shredders will demonstrate skills in various forms, including head-to-head solo duels. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions and win prizes such as a pair of tickets to see Wintersun, Arsis, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Starkill that night at House of Blues Sunset Strip, a free subscription to Decibel Magazine, and more goodies from Century Media, Nuclear Blast, and Earache Records.

Savage Messiah To Enter The Studio

Savage Messiah has confirmed plans to enter the studio on July 1st to begin recording an as-yet untitled new studio album.

The band will be working on the follow-up to 2012's "Plague of Conscience" with producer Scott Atkins (Sylosis, Behemoth) at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk. Savage Messiah frontman Dave Silver comments:

"We're beyond excited to be fast approaching the day when we'll head off back into Grindstone Studios, to work once more with Scott Atkins on what we can promise will be the most metal Savage Messiah CD yet! We've approached the writing process in a totally old school manner; just four guys in a rehearsal space getting a vibe going, playing heavy metal! Savage Messiah Announces New Tour Dates

Save Messiah has confirmed dates for a U.K. mini-tour, which is due to kick off on October 29th at Sound Control in Manchester.

The band will be playing four headlining shows around the U.K. with support from RSJ, finishing up with a show in London on November 1st. Savage Messiah has also confirmed a show with Nekogoblikon in London on June 14th. Savage Messiah front man David Silver comments:

"Seeing as we're going to be cooped up in the studio for pretty much all of this summer recording the follow-up to 'Plague of Conscience', we thought we'd organise a few dates before the end of the year. Even though the new album won't be out until early 2014, we can't wait to get out and play new songs, and just generally live it up on the road! So we hope you'll come out and join us for some drunken heavy metal madness!!!"

Savage Messiah Announces Show With Queensryche

British shred-heavy melodic metallers Savage Messiah have confirmed a show with American progressive heavy metal legends Queensryche in the Netherlands. Savage Messiah will be supporting the Todd La Torre-fronted Queensryche at De Effenaar in Eindhoven on April 26th. Also performing are Swedish rockers Mother Misery.

Savage Messiah lead guitarist Joff Bailey comments: "We're thrilled to announce that we will be opening for Queensrÿche on April 26th in Eindhoven! Queensrÿche have been a big influence on us and it's awesome to be chosen to go and play a show with them! We had some killer shows in Holland last year and are really looking forward to going back and thrashing out with all the Savages we met over there!"

Savage Messiah Releases "All Seeing I" Video

British shred-heavy melodic metallers Savage Messiah have released a new music video for the track "All Seeing I," which is premiering online now and can be viewed below. The video was filmed in Birmingham, England in October with director Phil Berridge of Creative Junkie Media, and is included in Vevo's Metal Monday playlist.

Savage Messiah frontman Dave Silver comments: "We had an awesome time making this video with Phil Berridge, and we're beyond happy with how it's turned out. Sharing this with our fans is a perfect ending to a great year, which of course started with the release of the 'Plague of Conscience' album, and is ending with us making some cool plans for 2013.

Evile Gearing Up For Hometown Show

Evile is gearing up for a special hometown performance at the Holmfirth Picturedrome tomorrow - Saturday, November 3rd.

The show follows Evile's headlining U.K. tour with Wolf, which wrapped up on Monday in Southampton. Joining Evile at the Holmfirth Picturedrome are special guests and labelmates Savage Messiah along with competition winners Shrapnel.

Evile lead guitarist Ol Drake comments:

Savage Messiah Comments On Bloodstock Show

British metallers Savage Messiah are gearing up for their performance at the UK's Bloodstock Open Air festival, which takes place this weekend at Catton Hall in Derbyshire.

The band will be storming onto the Sophie Lancaster stage this Saturday, August 11th at 11:50am to wake the metal masses with shred-heavy metal. Savage Messiah joins a line-up that includes the likes of Machine Head, Sepultura, Testament, Iced Earth, Evile, Alice Cooper, and more.

Savage Messiah guitarist Joff Bailey comments: "The anticipation is really starting to brew now! It's gonna be one hell of a weekend and we really can't wait to blast the living shit out of any one of you crazy muthas who are brave enough to come check us out with a hangover! Evile Announces Free Charity Show

Evile has announced a one-off London show on July 3rd to celebrate the recent release of the "In Memoriam" single. Joining Evile at the Old Blue Last, Shoreditch will be label mates Savage Messiah.

"In Memoriam" – taken from Evile’s latest album, "Five Serpent’s Teeth" – premiered on VEVO earlier this month, and is also available on iTunes including an acoustic version of the track, a radio edit, and the official music video.

The show on July 3rd will be free entry, with donations being taken for the British Lung Foundation. A flyer for the event can be viewed here.

Guitarist Ol Drake comments: "With the release of the 'In Memoriam' video & single, we're pleased to announce a FREE show for you all at the Old Blue Last in Shoreditch, London to celebrate it's release. Evile Announces Hometown Show With Savage Messiah

Evile has confirmed that fellow British metallers and label mates Savage Messiah will be joining the band as special guests for a recently-announced hometown show, which takes place on November 3rd at the Picturedrome in Holmfirth, UK.

The special show comes at the end of Evile's headlining October U.K. tour with Swedish heavy metal group Wolf. Evile lead guitarist Ol Drake comments:

"We're very pleased to announce the inclusion of our label mates Savage Messiah on our very special Halloween show in Holmfirth on November 3rd. We've known Mr Silver for many years and we had a great show with them at the HMV Ritz a few months ago. Guaranteed to be a very special show!"

Savage Messiah Announces New Shows

British shred-heavy metallers Savage Messiah will be returning to the Netherlands this June for two newly-confirmed shows.

The band will be performing at Little Devil in Tilburg, followed by a special after-party for the FortaRock festival in Nijmegen, which features the likes of Slayer, Machine Head, Anthrax, Lamb of God, and more.

Savage Messiah frontman David Silver comments:

"We're looking forward to returning to Holland for a few dates in June. Our first ever show in continental Europe took place in Holland, at Den Pul in Uden when we supported Overkill, so it's exciting to go back and play for the Dutch metal crowd once again. Savage Messiah To Play Hammerfest

British shred-heavy metallers Savage Messiah have been confirmed for this year's edition of Hammerfest, which is due to be held from the 15th - 18th of March in Prestatyn, Wales.

Having already performed at the festival before, Savage Messiah is now the latest band to be confirmed for Hammerfest IV, joining a line-up that includes the likes of Anthrax, Skindred, Amon Amarth, Cerebral Bore, and more.

Evile Kicking Off U.K. Tour Tonight

British thrashers Evile are due to kick off a headlining U.K. tour tonight in support of their critically-acclaimed new album, "Five Serpent's Teeth." Following a number of special album release shows, Evile is now heading back out on the road for a full U.K. trek with support from label mates and fellow U.K. thrashers, Savage Messiah. Evile will also be taking part in a number of signing sessions at Blue Banana stores during the tour.

British thrashers Savage Messiah are currently in the studio recording their as-yet untitled new album, which is due to be released in early 2012. The third album is being recorded at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, U.K. with producer Scott Atkins. The band has checked in from the studio with the following update:

"Thought it was about time for an update on recording. We've blazed ahead at a rate of knots over the past 2 weeks and are in touching distance of completion! A few more days to finish up some vocal tracking and we'll be into mixing! Meanwhile, the band are busily preparing for our October tour with Evile; we're going to be debuting plenty of new songs on the tour and we're looking forward to thrashing round the UK!!"
