Ex-Fozzy Guitarist Talks About Split
Former Fozzy guitarist Mike Martin recently spoke to Noisecreep regarding his split with the band and explained why he felt he is no longer a member. Speaking to the site he said:
"I have received many messages concerning my status with Chris Jericho's band Fozzy and my involvement with the new album. I am no longer with the band as a member. I did not quit nor leave on any terms of mutual dissatisfaction based on unrealistic expectations. Fozzy's management informed me in August of 2009 that the band wanted to make a change to the touring line up. This, I believe, is due to a personal falling out between me and one of the band members over business matters. Their decision, I understand and respect, and will leave any personal matters to remain private. I appreciate all the mail I've received from fans wanting to know what happened and wishing me well."
An interview that Fozzy singer Chris Jericho did with Noisecreep can be viewed below:

Fozzy To Release New Album In January
In a recent interview with the Baltimore Sun, Fozzy lead vocalist and World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Chris Jericho gave some insight regarding the new Fozzy album, "Chasing The Grail" and when fans can expect it to hit the shelves. An excerpt reads as follows:
Jericho: "Our new record, Chasing The Grail, will be out in January. We’ve been in discussions with radio programmers to see what the first single will be. There are five or six different songs they want to choose from. This really is a masterpiece for us and I think it will put us in a different category. I think it will change people’s perceptions that this is just Jericho’s wrestling band. I mean, Bruce Dickinson from IRON MAIDEN is a pilot but that doesn’t mean that his band doesn’t kick ass. We’re doing straight-forward, great rock and roll music."

Fozzy Bassist Sean Delson Posts New Album Update
Sean Delson, the bass player of heavy metal group Fozzy, has checked in with a lenghty update regarding the bands forthcoming new studio album, "Chasing The Grail." It reads as follows:
"Hello good people of the world!
""When Richie Rich asked me to write a little blog that would recap these past few days, and recap the events in and around the recording the last of the vocals and bass tracks... I said "How much does it pay?" Just kidding. I said "SURE!"
"It is always a great experience recording with these guys, and this time would be no exception. We did have some unforeseen twists and turns that seem funny now, but weren't so funny whilst living the moment! Like what, you ask??? The story below will share all of the love.
"To start... Rich and I set out from Atlanta around 10:00 am headed for Tampa to record in Ed Aborns badass souped up home studio (nicer than many free standing pro studios!). We were shooting to get there around 6pm, so CJ could start singing around 7. Our trip was pretty uneventful, and laced with the standard multiple stops for really bad food. We did run into a few massive thunderstorms that were so severe, we had to pull over several times because the rain was so heavy. We saw a few complete white outs. Dangerous conditions to be driving in.... but we made it just fine.
"Enter Chris Jericho... on time around 7. Energy is high and we are ready to go. Well..... I notice Rich has this rare, frantic, panic stricken look on his face. I asked what was up. He had left a VERY important cable in Atlanta. Like... the cable that was needed to power the hard drive where ALL of the sessions tracks were! It could have been a bloodbath had he not carried a little, portable back up drive. It was a big deal at the time, but CJ and Rich were able to record on the little back up drive to get us through this session. Ed saved the day, as is standard practice, by locating, and borrowing a replacement cable. Without that cable... we could NOT have finished the bass guitars, or Chris's vocals. BIG shout out and thanks to Ed for always having answers and solutions! More...
