Mutiny Within just checked in with the following band update and announcement about working on new material:
"Things are moving along a lot, lot quicker than we anticipated. We've already got songs coming together and being demoed. The chemistry that made this band so special when we started out has never been stronger and we're literally tripping over new ideas and we're so excited to be doing this again.
"Things have been really quiet for us for so many years but that break seems like it's breathed new life into the band. We've got that fire back that made Mutiny Within what it was.
"Most of you know that we had a lot of dark days after we departed from the roster of Roadrunner Records and it's hard to believe we've never actually been in the same room since December of 2010. We started our first tour being great friends and as time went on, more things went wrong, and our friendships became strained.
"But, here we are in 2016 working together as a whole band, all be it over an ocean but that isn't holding us back. So thanks for sticking with us. This next release is going to be strong. We've incorporated those classic MW progressive elements, and most importantly we're having the time of our lives making new music.

Mutiny Within singer Chris Clancy recently released the song "The Divide" (available here), with which he is donating 100% of the proceeds to a fellow metal head in need.
Sean Smith is a 25 year old from Lansing Michigan who suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta, a brittle bone disorder. Sean has been a lifelong metal fan and is in a time of need right now. Sean works and is putting himself through school, but his massive medical bills have made it difficult for him to better his life.
Chris Clancy comments: "I recently heard about Sean struggling so much, he's been fighting for years just to keep going financially due to his disabilities, works, yet still can't even make his rent payments on time. I'm sick of hearing about people struggling in our 'civilised society.' So I've written this track to raise money for him, stop him having to move into a shelter and hope it makes a difference. Please share this far and wide, lets right this wrong."
Sean Smith also had this to say: "I was born with a disability called osteogenesis imperfecta, a brittle bone disorder that causes my bones to be in a weaker, more fragile state, as well as being shorter in stature and other skeletal related issues. I also suffer from severe scoliosis, restrictive lung disease, asthma and sleep apnea. I have been wheelchair bound my entire life, and will be for the rest of its duration.
"To date, I have had well over 70 bone fractures and 4 major operations (including the placing of titanium rods through both of my femurs). My medical ailments have caused many hospitalizations, including two times where I was declared legally dead without brain or heart activity." More...

New Jersey-based Mutiny Within has released the following statement:
"Many people have a countdown until December 21, 2012. The time has come for a new countdown: January 12, 2013. Modern metal juggernauts Mutiny Within have announced the official release date of their long awaited sophomore album, 'Synchronicity,' for January 12, 2013.
"Mutiny Within made waves in the metal community early in their career by joining the Roadrunner Records roster and touring endlessly on the heels of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. Having half the lineup live across the great Atlantic pond and having serious financial difficulties due to the rampant piracy in the music industry, Mutiny Within was forced to go on hiatus in 2011. That was the end of the touring band, but not the end of their music.
"Epic metal music cannot be contained – not even by the one-eyed pirates of the tumultuous thief infested world we call the 'music industry.' Mutiny Within had so many good ideas and music ready to go, founding member/songwriter A.J. Jacobs and singer Chris Clancy decided to finish what they started and put out the next evolutionary sound of Mutiny Within in the form of the self-produced 'Synchronicity.'
"The road is far from over for Mutiny Within, and fans can look forward to many surprises leading up to the highly anticipated release of 'Synchronicity.'"
Mutiny Within has issued the following announcement about working on new material and posting a preview online:
"Mutiny Within's 2nd album has been sat around in demo form for well over a year. After disbanding in June 2011, Chris, AJ, Bill, Brandon and Dan have decided to finish what they started. Here's the first previews of the new songs.
"Release Date: TBA. It's great to finally show you what we've been working on since our first album. Share this with everybody you know." More...
Mutiny Within has checked in with the following announcement about splitting with vocalist Chris Clancy and seeking a replacement singer:
"In the coming weeks, we were planning on releasing the details on our new album. But it saddens us to say goodbye to our vocalist Chris. He worked very hard in this band, but it was just something he could not continue and didn't want to continue. We wish him the best. We'd like to promote his other ventures, check out his website here.
"As for MW, we will take this time to regroup and search for a vocalist. E-mail us at email@example.com for more information. Also for the time being, AJ, Brandon, and Daniel will be exploring other avenues in order to continue working. They can be reached either through facebook or the e-mail address above. Thanks to the fans for all of the support, we can't wait to bring you this new music."

New Jersey modern metal act Mutiny Within have pulled out their previously announced North American tour with Dutch symphonic metallers Epica.
Mutiny Within commented by saying:
"After weeks of discussions, we've decided to cancel our current touring plans in order to focus all of our efforts to writing the second MUTINY WITHIN album.
"Touring with EPICA would have been amazing and we were really looking forward to it. This wasn't easy for us and we apologize to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us again.
"After a year of touring, we feel it's time to get all of this new material demoed and recorded. We've started writing and we don't want to stop. We hope you all understand and support us, because we are excited to bring you brand new music.
"As far as touring goes, we are exploring opportunities for early 2011, and not just in America. We do have a few temporary drummer replacements lined up for any possible upcoming dates/tours, but we are still holding auditions for a permanent member. Send an e-mail to MWdrumauditions@gmail.com if you or anyone you know is interested.
"Wait until you guys hear the new songs!"
Mutiny Within, who recently parted ways with drummer Bill Fore, will pull out of the upcoming Nevermore tour as they seek for a replacement drummer:
"We're sorry to say that despite our best efforts, our plans to hit the road with Nevermore this month have sadly fallen through. As many of you know, we have been looking forward to being a part of this tour and seeing all of our fans again. However, we feel that in order to deliver our best performance every night, our search for a full time drummer has to take priority. Instead of hitting the road with a temporary member again, we want to take the time to properly audition and rehearse.
"We did have another drummer lined up to accompany us on this tour, but due to a slow visa process, rehearsal time was cut to an unworkable amount. Mutiny Within is not a 5 piece band and we need to find our 6th member to bring you guys what you deserve. We're so sorry to anybody who was looking forward to seeing us on this tour, but we cannot tour without a drummer. We know people will be upset and we apologize, but know that nobody will be more upset about this than we are. On a positive note, this gives us the time to work on brand new songs, which we've been looking forward to doing for some time.
"If anybody knows a suitable drummer or you are yourself, then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope you all understand this and will continue to support us. Keep checking back for further updates, thanks everyone. MW"
