Castrofate has checked in with the following announcement about pushing back the release date for the band's new album:
"Unfortunately the Castrofate album release needs to be pushed back. A few things are still not done and it would take about a month to get pressed so I'm gonna say the new date is the date of the CD Release Party at Dingbatz on March 1st, 2014. Hopefully we will finish the last few things within a week or so and get it shipped off to press to have it in time for that." More...
New York thrash metal act Castrofate has released a second music video for the title track off the band's newest album "Systematic Suicide," which was released on October 2nd, 2011 through Cataclysmic Metal Records. The video is available below.
The band's new drummer John "Sinner" Lonergan appears in the video playing to session drummer Dmitriy Shnaydman's drum parts from the album. You can also find the band's previous video for "Revelation (Truth Be Told)" here.
New York thrash metal band Castrofate has filmed a second music video for the title track "Systematic Suicide" off the band's latest album of the same name this past Saturday in Ardsley, NY. The band commented:
"The story scenes were done in San Diego, CA where the first Castrofate music video was filmed. The new Castrofate drummer John Lonergan makes his first appearance in a music video this second time around. Due to a family emergency the band's new bassist Mike Poplees could not attend the video so he will make his first appearance when the band makes it's 3rd music video."
Castrofate released the band's 4th album "Systematic Suicide" on October 2nd, 2011 via Cataclysmic Metal Records and the 12 song professionally packaged album is only on available on CD through the band. The album art was done once again by Eliran Kantor, who also did the cover of Castrofate's 2009 album "iHuman." The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered once again at Vin Cin's Electric Plant Studios where both 2008's "Cataclysmic Insanity" and 2009's "iHuman" were handled.

New York old-school thrash metal band Castrofate will release their fourth album, "Systematic Suicide," on October 2, 2011 via Cataclysmic Metal Records. As with 2009's "iHuman," "Systematic Suicide" was also produced by the same production team of Dan Castro, Vin Cin, & Ryan Parks with Vin Cin engineering, and the album also features once again cover art by Eliran Kantor (Testament) who also did the cover of 2009's "iHuman."
The same line-up from 2008's "Cataclysmic Insanity" & 2009's "iHuman," which consists of Dan Castro performing everything except the drums, and Dmitriy Shnaydman on the drums, is once again the line-up of "Systematic Suicide," only this time there are no additional guest guitar solos. 7 out of 12 of the new songs are streaming at the top of the player on the band's Myspace page.

"Quick update here in the Castrofate camp, I've uploaded a brand new song called 'Systematic Suicide.' It's the title track off the upcoming new Castrofate album. The album cover for that as well as the re-issue of our 'iHuman' album will be posted soon, both covers were done by Eliran Kantor. And our myspace profile (which is our main website www.castrofate.com) is currently being re-designed."

"Hey friends, quick update on the shows, our upstate show in Binghamton will be at Flashbacks on Saturday February 19th, but first we've got a NYC date coming up on Friday, February 4th at Ace of Clubs. Check our events for more info.

"We are in the midst of recording our new album with James Murphy producing. Dmitriy laid down the drum tracks at The Porch Studios, and James took care of the bass tracks at SafeHouse Production. I have returned to NY while James takes care of some business, and I will be back down there at SafeHouse Production to finish the guitars and vocals in mid-May.
"We are setting up a Fall Tour which hopefully will coincide with the release of the record. Also, we still have some t-shirts and some 'Cataclysmic Insanity' CD's left, and only 2 hoodies are left in our stock. Stay tuned!"

New York thrashers Castrofate have issued the following statement about their canceled show that was schedule to take place on Saturday, March 20th:
"Hey everyone, we're very sorry to announce that there was a problem with tonight's venue, we are being told now at the last minute by the fire department and the club's owner that we cannot have a show there. We did everything in our power to move it to a close-by location, but there is nothing available. We are postponing our NYC show. We will let you know when the next date is set up. Thanks so much for all of your continued support and we will see you again soon. We are going to focus on recording and hopefully very soon we will have our new tour date(s)."
