Across The Sun To Tour With The Human Abstract

The Human Abstracted has announced a headlining run this spring called the "Pull Me From The Gallows" tour. Support will come from Across the Sun, Scale the Summit, This or the Apocalypse, Letlive, and No Bragging Rights.

More Metal Songs Added To The Rock Band Network

The recently announced demise of Guitar Hero may be leaving some metal fans in the lurch, but anyone who wants to rock out to heavy music this weekend can still look forward to new tracks added to the Rock Band Network.

Xbox 360 players get songs from Dying Fetus, This or the Apocalypse, Oceano, Motionless in White, Dirge Within, Cephalic Carnage, Decrepit Birth, and Nightrage. Starting on February 15th, the PS3 edition will receive more music from The Red Chord, A Day To Remember, and Sonata Arctica.

This Or The Apocalypse Appearing On Soundtrack

Lancaster, PA’s This Or The Apocalypse has announced the band will be included on the soundtrack for the new indie horror film "The Orphan Killer." The song "Charmer," cut from the band’s 2010 release "Haunt What’s Left," appears as track six on the soundtrack. The DVD and Blu-Ray versions of the movie are to be released on February 14th, 2011. Other bands appearing on the soundtrack include Asking Alexandria, Most Precious Blood, and Born of Osiris.

This Or The Apocalypse Updates Tour Schedule

Lancaster, PA’s This Or The Apocalypse has announced a headlining U.S. this December and January. The first section of the tour (Dec 26th-Jan 4th) also features An Early Ending, Deception of a Ghost, and Where the Ocean Meets The Sky. The second portion of the tour (Jan 5th-Jan 16th) includes Destruction of a Rose, An Early Ending, and Deception of a Ghost.

The band is currently on the road with Chimaira's "Blue Collar Brawler Tour." Other bands supporitng the run are Impending Doom and Daath. "This or the Apocalypse is going to be playing a lot of new crowds and we couldn't be any more excited about it,” states vocalist Ricky Armellino. “This tour is a really cool mix of bands that we've been familiar with and fans of for a long time; definitely an incredible way to end the year for us. See you all out there!”

The band will also be joined by other select artists on the tour, including WITH LIFE IN MIND, DESTRUCTION OF A ROSE, and WHERE THE OCEAN MEETS THE SKY. The tour begins on September 3rd in Mt. Airy, MD, and comes to a close on October 16th in New London, CT. See below for all current tour dates.
