Burning Love has hit the road for a month-long North American tour. The itinerary takes the outfit on a mangled winding trek through twenty American and Canadian cities through the middle of July, sharing the stage with a plethora of acts along the way including Code Orange Kids, Swans, Reproacher, and labelmates Baptists to name a few. Dates are available after the jump, and the following press release was also issued about the band:
"Formed by vocalist Chris Colohan (Cursed, Left For Dead, the Swarm) and several members of Our Father, Burning Love’s filthy rock/punk/hardcore concoction is propelled by beastly riffs and Colohan’s raging, caustic vocals, counterbalanced by occasional melodious grooves. Rotten Thing To Say, the band’s second LP, and first for Southern Lord, was released exactly one year ago. Recorded with Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studio and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side the album boasts Burning Love's monolithic brew of rock-fueled punk/hardcore with more unpredictable riffage and poetically-enraged lyrical content than ever before over the twelve anthems, undoubtedly the band’s most powerful material to date.
