The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise has announced the last four bands to perform at this year's event. Canadian death metal veterans Kataklysm will be performing, in addition to American power metal outfit Seven Kingdoms has been confirmed for the journey, as well as Belgian groove metal band Diablo BLVD and Colombian speed metal group Revenge. Two More Confirmed For 70000 Tons Of Metal

Comedy metal act Psychostick and Mexican doom metal band Majestic Downfall are the latest groups announced to play this year's edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, which sets sail in only six days. This brings the total number of confirmed bands up to fifty six, with only four more to be confirmed. The organisers have said that the next three bands to be confirmed will all hail from different continents. In Mourning Announces Vinyl Release

Swedish progressive melodeath/doom metal band In Mourning just dropped new album "Afterglow" via Agonia Records, but that's not the only release now arriving.

In Mourning's former album, 2012 release "The Weight Of Oceans," will be made available for the first time in vinyl format. This new edition is set for August 26th via Agonia Records and pre-orders arecurrently available here.

A range of new T-shirt merchandise will accompany this release, featuring the album's cover artwork made by Kristian Wåhlin (Bathory, Tiamat, King Diamond) in various colour combinations. "The Weight Of Oceans" will be available in the following formats:

Sweden's melodeath masters from In Mourning are soon to release a new album titled "Afterglow," which the release date set for May 20th via Agonia Records. In anticipation, the band today reveals new song "The Call To Orion."

"Afterglow," the successor to "The Weight Of Oceans" (2012), will be the first album featuring new drummer Daniel Liljekvist (ex-Katatonia). The cover artwork was made by Kristian Wåhlin (Bathory, Tiamat, King Diamond) and the total playing time is around one hour.

In Mourning commented: "The new album is called 'Afterglow' and its story takes off from where 'The Weight Of Oceans' ends. Musically, the group blends a broad spectrum of influences into a foundation of melodic death metal. Thrusting from doomy metal-riffs, blasting drumbeats and deep growling vocals to calm breezes of clean flowing melodies and harmonies.

"Afterglow" has been recorded between November 2015 and March 2016 in Nordin Music Studios (drums) and Libra Studios (guitar, bass and vocals). Mixing and mastering duties have been handeled by Jonas Martinsson in Necrosavant Studio.

Agonia Records is proud to announce the singing of Sweden's melodic death/doom metal group in Mourning. The band is currently in studio working hard on the successor to the 2012 "The Weight Of Oceans." Agonia Records comments:

In Mourning Parts Ways With Drummer

Sweden's In Mourning has issued the following announcement about parting ways with Christian Netzell:

"After fourteen years of playing with In Mourning Christian has decided to leave the band, mainly due to musical differences.

"We will be departing from an amazing drummer and a formidable guy. There are no hard feelings behind this departure and we wish Christian the very best in all his current and future projects.

"For our upcoming live shows our friend Mattias Bender will be joining us as a stand-in drummer. Regarding the future in a longer perspective we will keep you informed on what will happen, however In Mourning will continue to work on a new record that’s for certain." More...
