Peste Noire Reveals New Album Details

French black metal act Peste Noire has posted the cover artwork and track listing online for the new album "L’Ordure à l’État Pur," which can be viewed below. A statement from the band's publicist about the album reads as follows:

"Peste Noire has undoubtedly marked the landscape of underground black metal since the turn of the millennium. Anyone who’s heard the band’s first demos will agree: something unique was brewing in the caverns of Avignon during those early days. Now, with four full-length albums under his belt, La Sale Famine de Valfunde has brought his vile, raucous black metal from the deeps of the rural France to the streets, where the battle rages on.

"The band returns with latest L’Ordure à l’État Pur, that is, in typical Peste Noire fashion, wormy, muddy black metal for derelicts, ingrates and scoundrels. A mixed bag of Filth and Tradition brought to you by the one and only, DJ Famine. Jewel case CD features a 24-page color booklet."

The "L’Ordure à l’État Pur" track listing is as follows:

1. Casse, Pêches, Fractures et Traditions
2. Cochon Carotte et les sœurs Crotte
3. J’avais rêvé du Nord
4. Sale Famine Von Valfoutre
5. La condi hu

Alcest Parts Ways With Bassist Fursy Teyssie

French metal band Alcest has issued the following update regarding changes to their lineup:

"After having crossed Europe and North America with Alcest unfortunately Fursy will not be able to keep on playing bass live due to a lack of time. I guess we will play again together when he will start making concerts with Les Discrets, I can't wait for that."

"A new bass player already joined us, Indria (from Lonesoul, Brutal Rebirth, ex-Peste Noire).
He will be a part of the Alcest live line-up from the next shows we will do, in Finland."

"Otherwise I am already working on the next album, which will be recorded in january-february 2011."
