Antigama just checked in with this update about working on both a new album and an EP release:
"We've got a message for you! Antigama is still in the process of making a new album which will be recorded in early 2018. In the meantime we're going to the studio to make a new EP!
"The session will begin next week at JNS Studio with Pawel 'Janos' Grabowski (who else?) on the mixing board. 'Depressant' - this is the name of the game. We can't wait to show you some of our best work we've ever done (in our opinion of course).
"The new tracks are wickedly fast, extreme and discordant at the same time. 'Depressant' will be available this fall through Selfmadegod Records on CD/Vinyl/Digital formats. The gigs will follow as well. More news/reports/bits of new music in the upcoming days. Stay tuned. End of transmission." More...

Antigama Recording New Album
Polish grindcore merchants Antigama will enter Pawel “Janos” Grabowski's JNS Studio in Warsaw this month to begin recording the first new material since 2013's “Meteor.”
The new record entitled “The Insolent” will make another step outside the genre to explore new sound territories. As on “Meteor,” the mastering will be done by Scott Hull of Pig Destroyer / Agoraphobic Nosebleed at his Visceral Sound studio in Bethesda, MD.
Vocalist Lukasz Myszkowski comments: "The most exciting is what lies before us so I'm not trying to close any vision. I see it as a form still plastic and I see it as the most interesting. The matter is very thorny and dry and I think this is a good platform to what is going to change in the reception of our music. Every aspect will be regarded separately and it will be a construction of the new sound, not any return."
Upcoming new album “The Insolent” will be released late Spring 2015 on SelfMadeGod Records, with full details forthcoming.

Antigama Reveals "Meteor" Details
Poland’s Antigama has disclosed the full details on pending full-length album, "Meteor," due out May 28th. The track listing and artwork are available below, and the following press release was issued about the album:
"Antigama's sixth studio full-length since forming in 2000, Meteor is the revered act’s first proper album since 2009’s acclaimed Warning, and following two LPs with Relapse Records, will see the band returning to longtime allies Selfmadegod Records, their first LP for the label since 2005’s innovative Zeroland.
"The recently completed composition Meteor once again proves all over again why the band continually reaps such accolades with the media fans as both one of the most brutal bands of the genre as well as one of the most cutting-edge. With eleven new tracks of primal Antigama annihilation, Meteor reverts back to some of the bands more intimately brutal early material with thirty minutes of ultra-tight grindcore explosiveness, yet continues to carry the band’s detrimentally inventive edge, integrating brief progressive soundtrack ventures and more noise and programming elements. Antigama Finishes Work On New Album
Polish progressive grind act Antigama has just completed the construction of sixth full-length album, "Meteor."
Consisting of eleven explosive new tracks, "Meteor" was recorded earlier this year at Progresja Studio in Warsaw with producer Pawel "Janos" Grabowski (Masachist, Lost Soul) and the final output mastered by Scott Hull at his Visceral Sound Studios (Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Pig Destroyer). The album also features a guest appearance by Michal Lapaj from Polish progressive rock band Riverside.
Antigama's head technician Sebastian Rokicki comments on what to expect from the album: "This was very hard and challenging recording session but I am sure the result will surprise many of our fans. Meteor is solid piece of intense brutal music not for weak at heart. This is no doubt the fastest and most experimental Antigama's album."
"Meteor" will see release this coming May or June via Selfmadegod Records, the assassins also responsible for the band’s recently-released "Stop The Chaos" EP in addition to a plethora of other Antigama releases, including the seminal "Discomfort" and "Zeroland" albums. An official studio report, album art, and most importantly, new music from "Meteor" will be available shortly.
