Evile Delivers New Album To Fan
British thrashers Evile have hand-delivering their new album "Five Serpent's Teeth" to one lucky fan. The band members set out on a road trip from their home in Huddersfield to Stockton-On-Tees to personally deliver the new album to Evile mega-fan Tony Dobson, following which the group went even further by inviting another fan along for a special inside look at an Evile band rehearsal.
Guitarist Ol Drake comments:
"Stopped off at Tony Dobson's house in Stockton-on-Tees to hand deliver the new album, Five Serpent's Teeth. He won a pre-order competition to have the last album Infected Nations delivered to him but Mike couldn't make it at the time. We promised him we'd return for us all to deliver the next one. Sat and drank some beers and scotch eggs while he listened to it and gave his honest and positive opinion. Thanks for having us in your home Tony!
"Then came back to Huddersfield to start another rehearsal and invited a local fan in called Tom. He'd asked me at a show in Manchester a while ago if he could come along to a rehearsal, so what better time than the day after his birthday (where he apparently sky-dived). Hope you like the album mate, and hope we didn't deafen your Mum too much."

Evile Speaks About New Album
Metal Hammer recently interviewed U.K. thrashers Evile about forthcoming release "Five Serpents Teeth," which is scheduled for release this September through Earache Records.
When asked whether the new LP will take the band to a new level, Drummer Ben Carter stated "We’re all really proud of it – on the other albums there have always been little niggles and cases of ‘Should we have done this, could we have done that?’, but we were so much more prepared this time around, and the feeling of the band was so positive going into the studio that it made everything easy. That in turn has led to something that far surpasses anything we thought this band could achieve. That’s why we’ve all got these massive cheesy grins on our faces! It’s the pinnacle of what we’ve achieved.”
Carter was also asked whether the new LP will affect the band's relationship with the "thrash revival" to which he replied: "“Some people are gonna hate us for it, we know that, but we don’t care. We write stuff for us, and we want to go forwards. What’s the point I writing the same album five times? That doesn’t prolong your career at all.”

Evile Streaming Preview Of New Album
British thrashers Evile are due to release their new album "Five Serpent's Teeth" on September 26th, 2011. A 15-minute preview of the album, featuring one-and-a-half minutes of each song , is available to listen to in the player below.
Evile guitarist Ol Drake comments:
"I was delighted to hear iTunes upped their track preview length to 1:30, but everyone doesn't have iTunes. A fan of ours, Austin H, put all the previews into one video on YouTube. I support people 'trying before buying' so I'd love to let people know these previews exist to give you an idea of the album instead of downloading the album in time to come - after all, when people download an album, they more often than not say it's to 'try the album out', so I see this as quite a fair compromise to condone the previews being heard by everyone. I'm not wholly against downloading, I'm more against the disrespect shown to artists by downloading an artist's work, liking it and not rightly paying for it. Bands these days, not just Evile, need their fans' support. Support music!"

Evile Reveals New Album Artwork
Evile will be releasing the new album "Five Serpent's Teeth" on September 26th, 2011. The band has now revealed the album's artwork, which can be viewed below. Evile's Matt Drake commented on the new album cover:
"So here it is, the artwork for Five Serpent's Teeth. As is always the case with Evile, we try and do things a bit differently from what we've done before, so we fancied something a bit more design-orientated this time around. It's been done by a great artist by the name of Gustavo Sazes and he really came through for us as we were struggling to find something that visually accompanied the music, so hats off to the man! Make what you will of any meaning you think the cover may hold, much the same as you will be able to do with the lyrical content of the album; we know what it means to us, so enjoy!"

Evile also recently posted a cover online of the Lady GaGa track "Born This Way," which can be heard by heading over here.

Evile Reveals New Album Track Listing
British thrashers Evile recently finished recording their forthcoming new album, "Five Serpent's Teeth," which is due to be released on September 26th. Evile lead guitarist Ol Drake comments on the track listing for the new album:
"Here's the full track list for our new album, Five Serpent's Teeth. There's such diversity through this album that I simply can't wait for people to hear these tracks. We spent a long time in the studio and at home figuring out the best order we could place these tracks in to flow perfectly through the album. The tracks go from the stomping heaviness of 'Cult', to the eeriness/melancholy of 'In Memoriam', to the pure insanity of 'Descent Into Madness'. You may have already hear 'Eternal Empire' at earache.com/fst, and if you were at Download festival last weekend and you came to see us, you heard 'Cult'."
