Utah metallers Deathead have issued the following statement about writing a new album:
"Greeting fiends, Since we are still looking for a drummer we can't really get out and play live anywhere anytime soon. However, on the good side we can still write new songs. At the moment I would say that prolly bout half of the follow up to An Offering to the Gods is written. There is some songs that are complete musically and there are a few that the germs of creation are there. I'm really liking the stuff so far. It's showing some growth without forgetting who and what we are. There is some good variety so far. Some real super fast songs and some stuff in the middle. I will start putting lyrics together and giving these new tunes titles real soon. Thats when the fun begins. Then we'll have to decide if we get a drummer before recording these if we should play any of em live. Maybe we'll just keep em hiding til it's time for a new record. That way everyone will be excited to hear em. Anyway. I will keep you all as up to date as possible. Once again..."
