Dead Head Streaming New Song Online

Dutch thrash band Dead Head are streaming a new song online from their upcoming album "Depression Tank" on their official MySpace Page. The band also issued the following update about the album:

"Hey, just uploaded "Firegate' to our player. And thanks to the 1100+ people who listened to "Less Than Zero' so far.

The new album will officially be released on Feb 16th, but Displeased is shipping early order from Jan 16th already. The March 20th shows marks our 20th anniversary and will be something special. More info when it follows."

Dead Head Issues Studio Update

Dutch metallers, Dead Head, have issued the following album update on their MySpace page.:

"Our new album 'Depression Tank' is finally done.
Feel free to check out the first song 'Less Than Zero'. It's in our player NOW!"

"Over the next few weeks, we will disclose at least one more new song.The album will be released by Displeased Records in February."

Dead Head To Enter The Studio

Veteran Dutch thrashers DEAD HEAD are ready to enter the studio to record their follow-up to 2005's Haatland. Returning to a more vicious rabid thrash approach, the new album "Depression Tank" (working title) is expected to be released in the fall via Displeased Records.

In other news, the band's 1999 thrash classic Kill Division will be reissued by Displeased Records around the same time, with bonus live material.

Dead Head Sign With Displeased Records

Dutch thrash metallers DEAD HEAD have inked a deal with Displeased Records. The band's new full length is expected in the summer of 2008.

The current band lineup includes Tom van Dijk (vocals, bass), Ronnie van der Wey (guitar), Robbie Woning (guitar) and Hans Spijker (drums)

Dead Head was formed April 8th, 1989 in Kampen, Holland. On that day the four original members Tom van Dijk (bass, vocals), Robbie Woning (guitar), Ronnie van der Wey (guitar), and Hans Spijker (drums), decided to form a band and to become the most intensive and brutal thrash metal band Europe ever had seen. A 10-inch vinyl EP, "Dog God", featuring two songs from "Haatland", the IRON MAIDEN cover "Total Eclipse" and a re-recording of an older track, was released in 2004 via Fadeless Records.
